ABOUT MIKO PEPITO
Filipino hip hop has always been overlooked by the general public. Filipino spoken word is virtually unknown. And in general, the local commercial music scene still has a hang-over from the rock and ballad eras. Yet, there are a few new artists who come in and bring something new to the table, new sounds and fresh vibes.

Born and raised in QC, Philippines, Miko Pepito (real name Mikaelo L. Aguilar) is a spoken word artist, record producer, and an actor. With comedy being his main ingredient, MP fuses different musical genres with his socially conscious stories. His nursery rhyme lyrical style has gained him audiences spanning the whole age spectrum. Add in his witty wordplay and crazy stage antics, you get a high energy aural and visual experience upsized in an over-wit package.

His first single, Tabi-Tabi Po, is now being played by radio stations like Barangay LSFM 97.1, Jam 88.3, 93.9 iFM, 101.1 Yes FM, etc. It is also being used by ABS CBN's Umagang Kay Ganda for their traffic update segment. He also wrote and performed Huhuhu Takot Aku, the theme song for TV5's Midnight DJ, starring Oyo Sotto, Desiree del Valle, and Juaqui Tupas, among others.
